About the Hillsborough Schools Foundation

Annual Giving Campaign. For 26 years, the Hillsborough community has helped fund its outstanding public schools by supporting the Hillsborough Schools Foundation's Annual Giving Campaign. Despite repeated fiscal crises and ongoing threats to public education funding, our schools have been able to continue important programs and keep class size down through the continued support of HSF, now an integral part of funding for our school district. Over the years, your generosity has made it possible for the Annual Giving Campaign to contribute close to $26.5 million to our schools.

Concours Events. For 51 years, parent and community volunteers have supported the oldest continuously running classic car show and family festival west of the Mississippi, The Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance. This venerable car show brings car aficionados from all over the country, and simultaneously, families enjoy the fun of games and food at the annual carnival.

In addition to Concours Day, there are three more outstanding events which help us fund programs at our schools. We begin in the fall with the Hillsborough Classic Tennis Tournament and Luncheon, followed during the year by the Dinner Dance and Auction and Family Fun Run. All these events happen because of the incredible support of hundreds of volunteers, all working together to make a difference for our schools.
