2009–2010 HSF Goals

  • Achieve $3.4 million in net revenue; allocate $3 million to district
    • Annual Giving: $3M (net)
    • Events (including Foundation Partners and eScrip): $400,000 (net)
    • New Ventures: $15K on Hillsborough Together (HT); $xK on HSFGarage; enroll 1000 satisfied users on HT; drive traffic to websites; launch HSF Shopping
    • Reduce HSF Operating expenses (note: HSF expenses are approximately 450k)
  • Implement and execute Strategic Planning Goals for 2009 – 2010
  • Preserve successful working relationship with Superintendent Ranii and HCSD
  • Successfully Transition Concours d’Elegance to Independent Board
  • Pilot HSF Roadshows at each school – replacing grade level coffee announcements; Be inclusive to all HSF Parent Community
  • Develop and expand new board positions focusing on Technology and Town Liaison
  • Create new HSF Video by September, 2009
  • Create Alumni Association with Alumni Board
  • Continue partnership and community spirit with APG and school sites; continue new room parent model to personalize communication
  • Task Force to study and report pros and cons of merging APG and HSF
  • Design and implement new PADS Technology in HSF office – train all staff on how to use new functionality to generate various reports
  • Launch first HSF Annual Report Calendar to HSF Community
  • Provide two personal development opportunities for volunteers
  • Build upon our new organizational structure ensuring fiduciary and governance objectives are met
  • Provide leadership to HSF professional staff; ensure operational and cost efficiency together with “a great place to work”
  • Have fun AND build upon our thank you culture – be “a great place to volunteer”
