HSF Mission Statement

The mission of HSF is to raise funds to support the tradition of excellence
in education within the Hillsborough City School District while fostering volunteerism and community support for our schools.

The foundation raises funds that our schools depend on to bridge the
gap between available public funding and what is necessary to provide
the quality public education parents expect and our children deserve.



California funding per student has been below the national average for many years, but the continued support
of our generous community has enabled the Hillsborough schools to go well beyond the national average and
maintain an outstanding education for the district’s students.
