We would gladly accept gift certificates and monetary donations. HSF does not share donor information with any other organization except as required by law.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship of HSF Events is a unique and cost effective opportunity to enhance the visibility of your business and products, while supporting quality public education in your community.

All HSF Events are organized and run entirely by volunteers, and the associated costs of running these events are covered by sponsorship dollars, donations and ticket sales. In 2009, HSF Events contributed nearly $450,000 to the Hillsborough City School District annual budget.

There are several opportunities to advertise your business/specialty to the Hillsborough community through HSF:
  • In the HSF Annual Report/Calendar distributed to over 4,000 households yearly

Sales Promotions

Merchants have successfully offered sales promotions targeting Hillsborough residents or tied to HSF Events. Companies interested in sharing their proceeds from sales to the Hillsborough community can partner with HSF to promote their sale.

We are also look forward to launching HSF Shopping, our newest venture offering online shopping links that rebate 5% to 10% on everything you buy through www.hillsboroughtogether.com.

Employer Matching Gifts

There are many corporations in the Bay Area that have employees who are parents in the Hillsborough community. Please consider matching donations when your employees donate individually to HSF. HSF can help you with your company's matching gift programs and the procedures for processing a match. Access the Corporate Matching Gifts Database and you will be able to search by company or subsidiary name and find specific program information, including matching ratios, maximum and minimum gift amounts, gift eligibility, and special terms and procedures.
